1. I kept my maiden name because my dad died and he didn’t have any sons.
2. I was 10 when I learned to drive
3. When I was little, I used to brush our dog’s teeth with my sister’s toothbrush… EVERYDAY!!!
4. At Christmas time, I would find things around the house to give to my mom and dad and use hair grease to make the gift wrap stick.
5. My cousins Quel, Cheronda, and I used to play “Rambo” with real knives. We could have died!!!
6. My first “wig” was a bath towel.
7. I used to want to be Tammy Faye Baker!
8. When I was 14 I went to Europe and got lost in a train station in Paris. I was about to get into a car with a stranger until my teacher spotted me from across the parking lot.
9. When I was 17, I got (accidentally) sprayed with pepper spray in Paris, and fell in the middle of the street gasping for breath. Everyone just kept walking.
10. When I was 4 I asked my daddy could I marry him when I grew up. He said no, and I was heartbroken.
11. I have a license to sell insurance but never used it.
12. I stole some breakfast the other day. I was in Kroger and I made me a breakfast plate to go. The check-out lady is so mean that she makes people wait ungodly amounts of time before they check out. I stood there for 5 minutes. She looked me right in the face and kept sweeping. So I closed the plate and walked out… It was the best breakfast I ever had!!! (sorry ma!)
13. I still want to play with dolls. I have to fight the urge to buy Barbie’s on a regular basis.

15. I asked my daddy could we move to London because I was in LOVE with George Michael!!! When I was 17, I saw him in London and froze… I had no idea what to do or say!
16. I was a background singer for Isaac Hayes.

18. I taught myself to play the piano. I did it for my own enjoyment and I hate to play in front of people.
19. I choose 10 people everyday to give a sincere compliment to. I’ve been doing it since High School. It helped me get over envy when I was younger.
20. I thought I was not my daddy’s child for the first 4 years of my life because my sister told me that he was her daddy and not mine. I think I had a complex about that all of my life. Thanks Lisa!
