Happy “Almost” New Year!

It’s been a minute since I’ve blogged and I just wanted to wish any and everyone who reads my blog a happy new year. I’m a musician so I will be pretty busy for the next couple of days. I’ve decided to list some of my resolutions for this year:

It’s been a minute since I’ve blogged and I just wanted to wish any and everyone who reads my blog a happy new year. I’m a musician so I will be pretty busy for the next couple of days. I’ve decided to list some of my resolutions for this year:

1. Create a podcast page on my site. I was thinking about talking about topics of interest. I love talking about music, beauty, fashion, spirituality etc. I will be taking questions from listeners. I figure it will be a learning experience for me and everyone involved. I’ve always wanted to do talk radio, so I’m going to try it.

2. Find a fun dance or yoga class. In my journey to get healthy, I’ve decided to spice things up a bit. I love dancing, so I thought that finding a place where I can express that side of myself would be both fun and therapeutic.

3. Do more performances. I’m a singer, songwriter, and musician. I’ve decided to spread my wings a bit and fill my calendar with performance dates. I’m in the process of forming a band. We’ll see how it goes.

4. Become debt free. I’ve recently started a great budget. My goal this year is to pay off bad debt and build more assets.

5. Learn to Sew. This is also something I feel like I can do but haven’t done yet. That might sound strange but, there are somethings that you know about yourself that have not manifested yet. Sewing and gardening are two things that I’m destined to do. I just know it. I’ll try sewing first.

That’s enough for now!

PAULA!!! I miss you. I love you!!!!! *sigh*

If you find the class, I’ll go with you, that sounds like sooo much fun. I went to a workshop and part of it dealt with meditation, I actually liked it, and I try to set aside 10 minutes to meditate everyday. (That’s a world away from the hours each day the presenters said they did).

I’ll be an “emergency backup singer” for you if you ever need one. You know I can’t sing…buuuttt, I can hold the note and tune! I can get up there and talk in front of anybody, I just can’t get up there and sing alone!

Anyways… happy new year! I love you!!!!!

oh and I’ve been meaning to tell you… Why are me and my baby arguing over which song we want to hear? E is around here singing some “staaaay tonight make you feeeeeeeel alright” and get mad when I wanna listen to “All I Want For Christmas”. I haven’t told him yet that it is his cousin… I wanted to see his reaction when he saw you.
