I cannot blame other people for my unhappiness. I have to make something happen for myself. Nobody can do anything to me without my permission. People should not have that much power in my life. I’m the author of my own story.
2. Trust my own inner voice when making decisions.
The more I think about it, the more I realize that my inner voice is seldom wrong. I choose to listen to it more often.
3. Do things that make me feel good EVERYDAY.
Whether it’s exercising, getting a facial, reading a book, or catching a matinee, it is crucial to my survival to so something that is pleasurable to me everyday.
4. Say “please” and “thank you”.
A little courtesy goes a long way. People really don’t owe me anything, so when they do things that make life easier for me, I should acknowledge their efforts.
